It's hard to believe that one year ago Blood Ties premiered on the airwaves and brought all of us fans together. So, in honor of the show's one-year anniversary, I am going to be NICE and post TWO chapters of AWTEW. This is just my way of giving thanks for the show and for those friends who continue to egg me on in terms of writing/posting FF.

This was terrific Sindee! You made good use of Maurice, a rather intriguing character we didn't get to see enough of on the show, and I love the way you keep amping up the tension. I felt so bad for Henry when he thought Vicki was dead and he lost it. Looking forward to the next chapter and the ritual.

Yay! For a second there I was afraid I'd gone off track here, but good to know it worked out OK! Yeah, I'm really trying to showcase just how devoted Henry is to Vicki (like we need any more proof, right?) so that when the next chapter(s) get here, [hopefully] the "audience" will be experiencing his turmoil right alongside him...@ least that's the plan anyway ;)

Awesome..loved maurice's note completely unexpected, i never really liked him in Norman, cant say why though, but he has redeemed himself in my eyes;)
This is one killer story you have going here i can only imagine what goes on in your head daily ..LOL
I mean that in a good way!

Oh TG, I was afraid the letter would be too much/way out there :) Yeah, I felt that there was more to 'ol Maurice then met the eye and wanted to resurrect him somewhat/get into his backstory a litte; we'll see more in the next chapter. U sure you wanna know what goes on in my head? It's kinda scary...but in a good way (J/K) and thanx for the comment :)

I love both chapters and can't wait to see how you are going to ended in, I;m on pins and needels with wait.I stiil can't believe that a year ago we all feel in love with Henry and the whole story. I just hope that a year later we all get the news that we all want.

Great chapter!
I loved the tender moment of Henry grieving and Mike almost consoling him!
About time Mike understood the deep love Henry felt for Vicky!
The letter was unexpected, but a clever way to move the plot forward.

Ooh TG! I kinda doubted the letter there for a moment, but good to know that my fears are unfounded. Yeah, I kinda wanted to show Mike and Henry starting to get along better (somewhat), and I'm glad to know that that particular scene pulled it off ;)
