Hi, I'm dropping you a note for the obvious reason that ... I friended you several days ago (based on a rec from rainweaver13. I am enjoying Eagle's Nest and would like to keep reading. I would very much appreciate it if you would friend me back.

I agree, this is incredibly annoying. I too have kept my journal (and stories) open, as I'm always happy to meet new people. I don't have an incredible amount of time to go browsing around, so I'm all the more pleased when someone finds me. If we all wind up locking all of our journal entries, how will it be possible to get to know new people, even to the point of deciding whether to friend someone?! How will we even be able to share our stories?! Grrrrrrr. I may wind up doing the same -- at least locking my stories -- but I really resent this. Sorry for the rant! :P

Friended and gladly so. I agree so totally with your rant that I will simply nod. I got zero sleep last night tossing and turning over this.

I only hope that at some time in the future there is some better way to deal with this but unfortunately as technology both improves our life it also invades it.

Sigh.
