With Many Humble Thanks

Oct 31, 2004 00:01

I decided to just do a single thank-you to each and everyone of you... for all your very sweet and supportive notes. I was most humbled by them. This story was ever supposed to be about the guys, not me, and I am really rather ashamed that I pitched my little fit and made it briefly about me (sigh ( Read more... )

You're thanking US?!?!?! ;-)

I've travelled this road now for *nearly* as long as you've been writing it. A very rare experience for me, to take the journey at the same time as an author. And a journey I'm sure you'll realise that I have enjoyed.

The way I see it, when I read a book I also like to read the bio in the dust cover. Personally, although I never would have wished for yesterday's real life events, I was in a way grateful to get a tiny insight into the battles you were fighting whle the guys were fighting theirs. It's nice to know the writer is human too :-)

Rolling my eyes - BOY am I human -- grin.

But thanks... I just didn't want me getting in the way of the story. The guys are really the important thing here. Its their story and they've had a rough go of it. (Now, back to writing / snap that whip... Gabriel likes that part! Grin)

I'd still be running around fuming, fussing and ranting--but look at you! You got the chapter done and it's perfect, and by your own admission, better in some ways! I know it's hard to lose the "original" but sometimes things do happen for a reason. I guess you'll just have to chalk this one up to Murphy's Law. So you're human--feel free to rant and whine and whatever else it takes to ease the pain and frustration. I've got a good shoulder to lean on.

PS: Love the ferrett

Well you know you've always had one of that strongest sets of shoulders to lean on, girl! I couldn't have made it through most of the last few months without you there! (Hugs!)

And yeah, ain't it cool, Widdershins showed me the way to Ferret-cons... I am doing little ferret-bouncey-joys!!!!

Ferret-friends from Australia no less! My fuzzies are so thrilled they are barely keeping their toes off the keyboard. Okay, they NORMALLY barely keep their toes off the keyboard, but now more than ever they want to come play.
