What if Freud was wrong and each person had an unconscious desire to be English?

Right, because I am overdue for an entry, like a woman ten months pregnant. Eventually, I will post that entry that I'm writing about Doctor Who's Gay Agenda, because it totally has a very obvious one, but until then ( Read more... )

I love Zara. There's a coat from there in my closet that I will carry with me to the grave.

And I take chai tea with whole milk and a little bit of chocolate syrup. (Don't bash chocolate chai until you've had it.) Don't give me skim or the vanilla soymilk everyone else in the house drinks, or I will CUT YOU.

Hah! I am bringing my coat from Zara to Boston, as it'll actually be COLD there.
I have no idea about the chocolate chai, but I'm glad you use whole milk. As any other kind (bar some kinds of chocolate soymilk, which aren't that healthy anyway, because you know, chocolate) is evil.
You should put up pictures, too. :) Then we could have the LJ tea frenzy.

MY bolding-key-words technique.

Yes! More pictures of tea!
The bolding thing is very difficult. And rather time consuming. I'm not sure how my friend manages it.
The problem with green tea is that it lacks caffeine.

Apparently, arsenic tastes like almonds. I always thought it would be fun to have a murder mystery party or something where we drank tea with almond extract, I guess you sort of beat me to it though ^_^

Hm...
We should do this. Actually the almonds don't lend very much taste to the tea, so I doubt I'd recognize it if you added extract.
Tea party!

Oooh yes, Paul had it right. Everybody wants, badly, to be English, except the English.

I remember those Gingersnaps! You gave me some while we were discussing TPODG during the EE retreat.

The author of Einstein's Dreams goes to MIT is a wonderful discovery! Now you don't regret not going to Princeton.

Yes, the English dentistry bit is rather unfortunate.
But just THINK of all the chicks you could pick up with the accent.

i contemplated going to college with an accent being like "oh hello. yes i spent a year in great britan before this", just to pick up the girls. then i figured fuck it, i'll rely on my charm instead.

yeah, i'm pretty much screwed.

You know, the more I read your LJ and facebook profile and stuff, the more I think we're freakishly similar. I have a tea obsession too. And Zara is pretty much my fave store ever. I dunno, it's just getting creepy.

If you have a tea obsession, you too should document it in photos as katranna suggested.
Hm... creepy.
Well, I'm a closet bohemian, and also, you know, not straight, so we're not that freakishly similar. :)

Um...you're assuming a lot about me being straight....

But I will be documenting my tea!
