Interesting fact:
In the Philippines, the age of consent for heterosexual activity is 12 for males and 18 for females.

That's a great addition to my collection of weird and wonderful facts that make it interesting to live on this planet. Regulating everyone else's sexuality has been one of man's favourite pastimes since the first male discovered the Great Neanderthal Wooden Club. In Norway the age of consent is 16, I think, unless that one 16-year limit that was somewhat recently lowered to 15 was the age of consent ... or was that the age at which criminal activity became punishable by prison sentences?
