cheecheechee might be the most awesome person ever. Seriously. Tess, how I adore you!

I've borrowed a bunch of books and other assorted media from her and since our lovely tea party I have consumed a surprising number of them. Gregory Macguire's Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister, which was a bit of alright- fun and intriguing, but by no means mindblowing. ( Read more... )

History Boys = <3

I was a bit sad that the inappropriate relationship was deterred by that pesky accident, though. That would have been hot. But an awesome movie nonetheless.

OH MAN yes it would have been ridiculously hot. I think half myscreencaps are of Dakin being excessively flirtatious with Irwin.

I just watched it the other day as well!! It made me so happy inside. And outside. The only bad thing was Irwin looks slightly like my cousin. Which was awkward at times.

Oh noes your cousin!
At times like these it helps to be Indian- people who look like your relatives will never be in awesome slashy movies.

When I think about it, History Boys is probably the most perfect movie made for you EVAR because of all the subtext and the immense amount of GAY. It was a nice movie, though I didn't like the ending because it wasn't happy enough. Stupid play adaptations.

The only thing that really upset me was the lack of Irwin/Dakin sex in the ending. I was really looking forward to that, yo.

Hahah. Oh mother.
I read that they took nearly an hour's worth of stuff out for the movie... I'd really like to read the play as well. And possibly more of Alan Bennett's stuff.
