i really didn't want to write a breakup fic as the first thing i wrote for infinite, but it wouldn't leave me alone and it was interesting to flesh out, to say the least :) i will definitely write more for infinite! no wips atm because it's time to go into secret santa mode so it looks like i'm the one who should bully you for infinite fic >:D

So. I am all breathless and mesmerized after reading this. This was just breathtaking, negl. I loved their dynamics and how Sungjong wasn't portrayed as a flamboyant kid with a flair for girl group dances. I love the subtle yet hard-hitting ending, too, and the steady pacing of the story. Everything just seemed to fall into place.

That said, this is definitely definitely one of the best Infinite fics I've read so far. Thank you so much for writing this. Really ♥

firstly, adhjahsk your comment! i am humbled you think so because your myungsoo/sungyeol was one of the first fics i read for the fandom so this means a lot :)

imo, sungjong is a lot like key: the first thing to stand out about him is the way he behaves, but it is not something that defines him - i'm glad you think this shows here.

WHY DID I NOT FIND THE INFINITE FIC COMM EARLIER THIS WAS SO PERFECT I AM RE-READING IT FOR THE THIRD TIME AND I STILL FIND IT AMAZING. *o* ♥ All the emotions are so palpable, especially Myungsoo's sense of guilt and the pain he's feeling, and the sense of helplessness that Sungjong keeps feeling, and how the seven boys just want to be together and sing again and-- /rolls around MEMMING FOR FUTURE READING THANK YOU. /RE-READS

i really, really liked this. your writing is absolutely lovely and the pacing is wonderful and this It takes months and months for it to happen - just long enough for Sungjong to believe that maybe it is all a misunderstanding; maybe Infinite will live up to its name after all is gorgeous.
