I was thinking "Oh, but.. then my frequency of seeing you two in person might drop from once every 2-3 years down to being even LESS! :-(". But then I looked at a map.
Heck, I might end up having more opportunities to get together with you two in person if you moved over there. I have many good reasons to visit San Francisco, CA on a reasonably regular basis.
And anyway, it sounds like there's some goodness for you two there that's far more worthwhile than making sure a semi-distant friend who sends you holiday text messages can still visit every 2-3 years. :-)
