LOL! Well I'm really happy it made your day better. That makes *me* smile (and except for posting this chapter, I've had a pretty shitty day so far. Blech!) But thanks for the note. :D
YAYAYAYA simtopi update. I sped through this chapter, had to re-read it a couple of time. The part between Gabriel and Rowan was probably my favourite - those two are my favourite characters and I always love seeing them interact.
And Gabe! Poor Gabe. My heart kind of broke for him in the beginning... he seems so worried about Willow. I was kind of worried about how he was going to react towards finding out Willow was a witch, but he seemed to take it in stride. Or is he just in shock?
The shots of Rowan jumping over that fence in that long leather trench were fantastic. That coat is brilliant! Is it an accessory that goes over the clothes, or is it part of the outfit? I admit to being on edge a bit when he looked in the coffin, until I remembered that Sybill had died... Can't wait for the next chapter, I'm really looking forward to seeing where you're going with the plot.
I'm actually pretty happy to update too. I wanted to get to it for a few days now but I kept getting tied up with work stuff.
Gabriel doesn't know how to deal with everything he's just learning now. But in general, he is a pretty easy going guy and he's not going to let Willow being a witch affect the way he cares about her. But yeah things are really weird for him right now.
I do love that trench coat... maybe a bit too much. It's by Club Crimsyn, but I can't tell you offhand if that's an original mesh or if it's a retexture of a Maxis mesh. Either way, I do like it. I briefly thought of posing Rowan struggling to get over that fence, or losing his coat or something, but laziness got the better of me. >_> Let's just say that Rowan knows how to climb fences, lol.
I can't wait to see where I'm going with the plot too! LOL! (Okay i kid, I know where I'm going but how I'm getting there will be the interesting part for me)
"Rowan: Let me guess. Mister Fucking Wesley, is it? "
Win.
Just a quick comment so you'll know I've read, but EE. This was a really great chapter, never mind that it was transition. As always I am in awe of your filming skills. Also, dear goodness...I wonder how Rowan is going to take Meadow's secret?! Probably not as well as Gabriel took Willow's but then again he really DOES seem to be a softie, deep down. :D
Aww, thanks for leaving a comment :) I do appreciate it. I do admit I had fun with Rowan (and Gabriel) in this chapter. Rowan can be a bit of a softie to the right people (don't tell him that to his face though). But we'll get to Meadow's adorable little secret in time. ;)
Again, your transition isn't so bad! Your writing is always good, even at its worst. I really like the focus on Gabe this time. It's nice to learn more about everyone, when the time is right! And Rowan is a badass. As always.
Thank you very much. Writing never comes naturally to me but I try. :) I do remember your discussions about not 'putting down' your own story, and I do stick to that to the most part. I mean, I don't think I'd ever release something I personally completely hated. There's always little bits of doubt and we're never 100% satisfied with everything, but this chapter, I can say in all honesty that I'm pleased with it. ^_^
And yes it was fun to focus on Gabriel a bit for this chapter.
Rowan is a good big brother, though I doubt he ever really saw himself in that role. I guess he's taking that on for Gabriel as well. Believe me, I'm a little anxious about Rowan meeting Sage (if he ever does), as well. ;)
And it was a struggle to get that bat to that position, lol. I had to make false floors. I'm glad it worked.

I loved Gabriel's talk with Rowan. He's a good big brother. And my gosh, I'm so excited for Rowan to find out about Sage and to see his reaction.
I really love the picture of BatWesley flying overhead. That's just perfectly framed and awesome.
