That is so lovely, it genuinly looks like a retired couples' home. And they looked quite good when they were younger didn't they?
I'm in awe of your building skills, it seems so effortless, your houses and lots look simple yet so gorgeous. Well, good job :)

I was really trying to think of how a hip and urban downtown elderly couple would decorate, and I tried to incorporate little things of stuff I've seen in other people's homes. They were a pretty hot couple when they were younger, yes!

Thank you! :)

In depth portraits of real people. :) Their home really tells a lot about them and the makeovers complete the whole thing. The ponytail on Bert - Perfect! :D I bet they met in college and that they were a little bit of activists when they were young. (Well - that's how your pictures got my imagination started). I love every little detail of this.

I was thinking they were sunchasers (of the surfer variety) but being activists actually work for them! I could see them meeting at some kind of protest or something and having big goals to save the world until reality caught up with them and they spent their lives just working. Now that they're retired, they can catch up to their dreams hopefully... siiigh! :D Thank you, I'm glad you liked it!

I like the surfer angle. :D What made me think college/late sixties = activist generation was their comfortable home and no lack of money. When you start to use that college degree you suddenly find yourself slipping into a much more bourgeois kind of life ... ;-)
But they are your sims, so what you had in mind is of course what you wanted to show. The both fantastic and annonying thing about creating something and than share it, is that other people's imaginations start to see things in your creation that you originally not intended to have there. I guess you woudl know all about that. ;)

I personally love that your pictures always gets my imagination started.

Yeah, indeed! I'm still reading your story btw. I'm busy reading chapter 26 right now. Every evening I read at least one chapter. It's better than reading a real book before I go to sleep! At the moment, at least... There will come that moment when I just have to wait for another chapter and then I'll not be able to read whenever I want... xD But it's great! I also feeled like clutter after looking at this, btw! http://sims2snfkggh.livejournal.com/68656.html X3

I like the way you clutter too! Your pics are really cool!

Take as much time as you like with the chapters. It'll still be there. I am really glad you're enjoying it. :)
