I watched this story grow from the first legacy post, and it has been such a remarkable and fantastic experience. The writer pulls out all the stops. It's lush; it's beautiful; it's romantic. Her attention to detail in both the plot and the imagery is stunning. She takes you into the world and she's not always kind with her characters. It's a fabulous read!
There aren't many Sim stories out there that feel quite as real as The McTavishams does. The attention to detail in both the writing and the visuals is meticulous, but not in a way that makes the story inaccessible. Also remarkable is Christi's ability to maintain such a strong semblance to the real world--characters like people we know, relationships like ones we've had, situations we might have witnessed or even been a part of--without slipping into the realm of the mundane. Intimate and addictive. I would definitely recommend this one if you haven't read it already.
