Tom linked to my last post from his myspace blog, and his comments were just cute and funny, as well as pointed, and I wanted to share. Also Tom is cool, and those of you who are on myspace would probably like him

It's sad. If they could make the myspace blog exactly like LJ, I'd be all myspace, all the time. However, in this respect LJ is and probably always will be superior.

Yeah, the thing LJ has going for it that no one else can touch is the access levels for posts. Well, LJ and its evil twin anyhow.

RSS is your friend

Get yourself an RSS reader, configure links to your friends' blogs (most blog sites, LJ included, support various versions of the RSS format) and you should be all set. It'd be a bit of a pain to set up initially, but at least you'd then be able to aggregate all of the various blogs into one convenient location.

Yeah, I have several of them already, but I don't think myspace supports feeds, and older blogger blogs don't either.

(forgive me... it's 6 AM here, I've had 2 hours of sleep tonight, and I want to throttle my flatmate. I am not sane at the moment.)
