Question: TS3 must-haves

So for awhile now I've been considering getting Sims 3. I've been hesitant because of all the love I put into the Sims 2 but after seeing all the Sims 3 pretties I kinda want to play get it.

My question is what are the must have CC/Hacks/Mods/ect for the sims 3 so my Sims 3 game can be as awesome as my sims 2 one

I was worried I'd have a hard time finding things. It was sad how long to took me to find the sims community when I started Sims 2
