(Sims_gone here. I have a confession to make. I don't like playing Melanie's house. I hate her house - it's tacky, like I imagine her to be, the layout is bad, so she routes every path through the garage, and she's too poor to start over with a new one. I hate her hair, but can't seem to change it - nothing else looks right on her. I tried to spice up her life by giving her a baby, but really, I regret ever moving her to Winterfell from college. There. I said it. Therefore, she's getting the bare-bones treatment.)

Melanie decided to throw a party in honor of Oralia's birth. The guests thought it was a little weird that Oralia herself never made an appearance, but had a good time anyway.
Melanie relived her glory days as a cheerleader with Shena.
Melanie introduced Nevada and Ian, which I just realized makes no sense. Ian lived in Nevada's house and was married to her grandmother while she was growing up. They haven't been in touch, but I'm pretty sure they should remember each other!
