Darcie
Today I bring you a cat who's extremely close to my heart. It's my own real life cat, Darcie. I picked her up about twelve years ago from a dirty little pet store, which I was browsing with no intention of getting a pet, where she was being mistreated (seriously, her water dish was filled with weeks worth of poop and no water at all and she looked ready to expire any second!) and have never regretted my snap decision to rescue what was a runty looking kitten that was actually too young to have been taken from it's mother in the first place. We formed a bond stronger than any I've shared with a cat before or since and she's seen me through husbands and boyfriends and has shared my home wherever I've been since we met. So here she is, the other half of my soul. I hope she brings your sims as much joy as her real life counterpart brings to me.
I've recreated her in minute detail right down to her one creamy colored sock, which was not actually one of her original markings, but was an accidental bleaching many years ago when she was being very silly and one of her paws fell in to a sink full of drano that was trying to unclog. Despite immediate washing for about twenty minutes, the fur on that paw has been off-white ever since. She's not really a particular breed, though she definitely has some persian in her. She's a wonderfully devoted and loving girl, though she cannot stand other cats and never could.
