A/N: So originally this was going to be for the first week of fanon_fridays. Clearly that didn't happen. And then the story didn't want to go exactly as I had planned. But here it is now.

this is beautiful! I agree, it's really intense and Clark's discomfort is palpable but it's not angst. It's hopeful and I loved the Chlark characterization.
