He wasn’t supposed to just leave her. He’s Clark, her Clark, and his actions are all wrong. He was supposed to stay and comfort her.

Instead he’s gone and all she has are her tears for company.

Everything that made that finale heartbreaking and angsty are there and I love how you capture Chloe. She survives and she'll survive still, saving herself and building Watchtower and the League back up, no matter whom she has lost.

I loved this story. It's a nice tag to the finale. My heart went out to Chloe in that scene... it's true, she is left alone. I understand Clark's frustration... but she is Chloe after all. She's been there for him 24/7. And now she is all alone.

I love angsty Chloe fics. Can't wait to read more! Great writing style!

I'm glad you liked this story. It's nice to hear. Others thought it was too angsty, but it was something I just felt like writing.
