R-regarding the monster, It seems we will have to take larger safety precautions. It's too loud for comfort.

At any rate, let's move on. It's near enough to the end of the week that I should give the answer to those who did not get my puzzle. The answer is clear, as greenhouses are made of glass. It seems it was too easy for you all. How about ( Read more... )

Easy. A helicopter picked him out of a lake or body of water he was diving in via dumping bucket (used to douse the flames of forest fires), he was dumped with the water over the fire and either burned to death or died from the landing.

I believe he fell to his death, is the short of it.

If I can say one thing about myself, it's that I'm pretty good with puzzles.

It looks like I'll have to make them even more difficult. We have quite a few fellow puzzle-lovers around.

This is interesting. I'm afraid I have very little idea. Though am I correct in assuming that there was water involved, at least at one point?

Speaking of the monster, I have a theory as to what it is, but I need to examine it more closely on my own to be certain.

Yes, there was. Scuba gear is used for diving and staying underwater for long periods of time.

I'm assuming it's an animal of some sort; I'm entertaining a theory that it's been injured, due to the sheer amount of shouting it does.

Normally if there is a forest fire, the Count simply entrusts Trauere or me to quell it. I have a feeling that the diver in question has no special abilities. But why would he be there? Unless... was there some sort of airship involved?

From the view I got of it, it seems to resemble a certain form of the Count. It doesn't make much logical sense for it to be him, I realize, but I need to know.

You're getting there. Think very hard about how the diver got to where he was.

So you believe he's done magic to make himself into a monster? Has he ever had any homicidal feelings towards others?

The answer is clear, as greenhouses are made of glass.

That still doesn't make any sense.

...And neither does this one. If the forest is burned to the ground how can a guy be found in it? It's not a forest any more.

Consider this: I asked you what color his green house was. If you were to put the two words together (or read it aloud very quickly), you would realize I was not talking about a house for people, but a house for plants. Do you understand now?

He is found at the site of what was once a forest.

...no. Plants have houses? I mean yeah, plants can grow indoors, but what do they need their own houses for?

That's what I said...
nevermind. I'll wait.

To keep them safe in the winter; the plants can continue to grow in a controlled environment if they're inside a greenhouse, even in the coldest winters.

So, you'll sit back this time around? Alright, if you insist.

Wrong. Come now, think long and hard about it.
