willow_fae_20 offered me some motivation I couldn't pass up! She said For every 500 words you write (or re-write) I'll fill a Comment_Fic request of your choice.

well...for h50_holidayswap fic...I got the mother of all ideas, changed the topic, did some reading/research, and in the last hour I've outlined the first half of the fic and written it - the first half that is!

Okay, I am totally writing this. But I got it all written up in a comment to the request and went to post it and the page was all:

'Oh, hey, the server is busy, and we can't be assed to post this right now. So you just spent an hour writing all of that and it's GONE! HAHAHAHAHA!!!'

And I was just like: *FacePalm* Fuck. My. Life.

So I stepped away from the computer, before I did something stupid, like throw it. And carved the pumpkins to set out on the porch for tonight (Happy Halloween, By the way!) And then I have to feed the boys lunch. Then I'm going to try to re-write the fic, from memory... and get it posted to my journal with a link on the actual request.

Noo! that sucks! Usually when I get something like that, and I click the back button, my comment's still there. LJ or Frank the Goat need a kick to the butt!
