i bought the second book (except i thought it was the first) in holly black's faerie series.
Which one? The tithe one, or the spiderwick chronicles?

the tithe one. i can't believe that i forgot that "valiant" was the second one. ::sigh::

Yeah. I adore Tithe. Valiant is about different characters, and I didn't find it nearly so compelling (read: didn't finish it). Then Ironside is back to the original plot; it brings in a character or two from Valiant, but I followed just fine without having read it.
But yeah. Tithe is one of my favorite books of all time.

i just ordered "ironside" for the ya department. reading the review, it sounded *so* interesting, so i made a mental note to get the series. i just goofed and got the wrong one first.

maybe i'll order it from amazon, along with my school books.
