This was some serious awesome-foo. I just saw the lovely picspam from jannika and it made me think of your story and then you update with story surrounding that episode. Wheee!

THINGS I ADORE:
Mindy finished putting together the last few buttons of her oxford shirt and she stretched out along the length of her bed while Drake bent over to find his t-shirt that had been tossed aside earlier.

Shirtless Drake and unbuttoned and possibly also shirtless Mindy. Also, just how casual and matter of fact she is with a shirtless Drake in her room. Lucky girl.

“And what if it doesn’t? What if Josh is right and we’re just roommates until he heads off to college?” Drake asked, a hint of whine tingeing his voice. “I’ll have to deal with this for another year.”

Whiny, pouty Drake = Adorable.

haha, jannika's picspam is kind of what kicked my ass into finishing this chap, so that's kinda awesome :D

My favorite D&J scene ever, written with exactly the emotions I would’ve given Drake in that situation. *golf clap*
not only do i love your golf claps, but yay i'm so glad the scene works and reads well for you! kudos to schneider and the bunch for a fantastic scene to work with (best episode ever)

ah, you've got me all excited for the josh/mindy hookup too. god i love "eric punches drake", it's definitely one of my fave episodes

Your parallel world is so perfect it is kind of ridiculous.
DUDE. watch season four and try not to think of mindy/drake. IT IS IMPOSSIBLE (at least for me)
