Sims not interacting.

So I went through the laborious process of uninstalling and reinstalling all of my Sims 3 games. I had the problem of my sims being unable to interact with each other after installing ambitions. Earlier, I had only World Adventures installed with the Sims 3 and no custom content enabled (I had it all backed up). My sims were able to interact

Sounds like some sort of hack is not liking the latest patch/Ambitions, since it works fine without your CC. Try taking out the hacks, then going to each download thread/site and seeing if there is any new info on them and redownload if they have been updated. You may need to introduce the hacks back into the game just 1 or 2 at a time to see which one it is that breaks the interactions. It's a laborious process but the only sure-fire way to find out which is causing the problem. Do this for all of them, because it could be more than one that is not playing nice.

If you're using lostaccount's same sex pregnancy hack, it for sure conflicts and causes the error you describe.
