Create A World crashes.

I just installed Create A World a couple days ago, and tried to load it up just now and got the following error message

Right click on CAWs .exe and run as admin?

I turned UAC off, sooo I might be kind of useless here, it irritated me far too often. :/

edit: Oh, though I believe it gave me the same error the last time I used it. I ended up having to uninstall it. Try uninstall reinstall?
Try turning UAC off long enough to make sure the program will actually run at all?

From what I've heard, Create A World isn't working with the new patch or Ambitions.

Ahhhhhhhh... that would explain it. My game's updated to the latest patch.

Well I would think the patch might be the reason, except, I don't have the patch installed yet or Ambitions and I get the same error.

I'm getting the exact same problem...tried un-installing and re-installing with no luck :( Tried running without UAC and as an Admin and without anything else running...no luck :( would love to know if you find a solution...I would post on the sims 3 forums but I can't get to them for 2 weeks :(

Have you patched your game or installed Ambitions? As was mentioned above, Create-a-World didn't play nice with the new patch/Ambitions, but there's a Create-a-World patch out now that solves that.

Installed the patch and still the same error...removed the whole thing then re-installed with the patch again and still the same error :( It is definitely Ambitions which has messed it up :( It was working fine before Ambitions.
