I have no idea what's causing that, and it's really quite creepy. :/ I suppose a reinstall might resolve the issue, but I hope someone else has a better (quicker) idea.
On a slightly unrelated note, where did you get the hair of your selected Sim? I've been looking for it for ages!
That's really freaky. I've read on MoreAwesomeThanYou about people having that glitch, but haven't read a solution for it yet. They have found a work around there for the CC not working right though.
I'm not really sure if it is or not! Everything was fine last night. I didn't download anything new and when I opened the game this morning this is what I saw.
I seem to recall some people having blue lots due to certain custom objects, but I believe that was just blue lots and hood. The issue with the lots being "underground was a custom issue which seemed to be a problem with framework(I got that one. :P) but what ladyamarra wrote below is probably it and is corruption due to that crappy save issue.
This is one of the glitches caused by the saving error that came with the new patch and with the expansion pack. It happens when the game isn't saved properly. Once the glitch has appeared in a neighbourhood you can pretty much kick it into the bin. In fact, the only way to get rid of the glitch completely - at least in my expierience - is to delete all savegames with this family.
EA suggests to use the option SAVE AS every time you save a game. This way the game creates a new savegame with every time you save and the glitch doesn't happen. This means you get a lot of savegames, but it works. You also have to pick save as, and then quit without saving afterwards to keep the glitch from happening.
I had this glitch a lot after patching the last time, and since I use Save us every time - creating a new file everytime- the glitch hasn't appeared anymore.
