I swore you could, but Googling it again now it looks as though I'm wrong.

Thanks :)

As far as I know the opportunity is the only way to make them playable. Unless throwing the tombstone into the sim's inventory and just heading for the science facility also works but I've never tried it.

Also, check out the Jam legacy by plumsims. I THINK it was plumsims. Strawberry had a baby with Tragic, called Water. I think Strawberry managed to get Tragic to move in using the science opportunity.

That sounds like the legacy that started me looking for Tragic in the first place, thank you! I'll go and have another look at it, thanks :)

If you befriend them, then take them to the science lab to bring them back, and if it doesn't work they will go home with you afterwards. I discovered this with Basil Flores. He was still a ghostie but moved in with my girlie (which I though was odd since they weren't romantically involved). He became a completely playable character.

I hope this helps.

Thank you :) If they're playable but still ghosts, do they dissapear during the day or are they around all the time?

I thouhgt someone had a legacy here were he moved in, but he would disappear for a awhile. I think tey eventually ended up with several ghost babies too.

I think you can just take his tombstone when you click on the mausoleum and arrange the tombstones, can't you?

Yeah, I moved his headstone into the garden a while ago when I realised the option was there, unfortunatly that doesn't make him controlable. I'm trying to get him to have a baby with my Sim, but whenever I click on 'Try for a baby' it says he's in a bad mood, and then he wanders off with the exhausted thought bubble. If I can control him, there might be a better chance of getting ghost babies :p

After a while your sim will get an opportunity to take the headstone to the science lab to have him resurrected.
