The change with the fruit was done via the patch. I'm not sure why you are getting all of one gender, unless EA broke something, or it's just the luck of the draw.
I believe that I have had mixed gender births but I didn't have the patch at that time, nor did I play with the fruit meals to affect genders at all.

Pescado's backtowork should still be working. I'm sure that plenty of people would have been complaining otherwise. Have you tried with and without debug on maybe?

I think I am going to experiment some more with the births and see what happens, but every single set of multiples I have had are either all boys or all girls.

As far as the "back to work" feature, think it's just me and need to enable that feature and re-download it. Thanks :D

There are certain things that are not set to default with Awesomemod one of them is the Backtowork feature. You have to go to the page with the Awesomemod on it- click on the AwesomeConfig Tool button and set up what you want to be enabled in your configuration for Awesomemod. Then save this config in .pkg format to your C:Program Files/Electronic Arts/Sims 3/Mods/Packages file.
