Original haircolor

Jun 17, 2009 14:50

How do I get the original haircolor back, once I changed it?  ( It isn't one of the standard ones.)
The sim's eyebrows are still the original color though, if that helps.
I really don't feel like trying to recreate the color myself.

If you didn't save it as a custom hairstyle, then you have to recreate it manually, by going to the mirror and changing appearance.

I'm not playing at this exact moment, so i can't be sure, but you might be able to go to the eyebrows, then the advanced colour options (the colour wheel), and then click on the # tab. There should be a number in the bottom in a box called "Hex". Copy this number (press CTRL+C if you're using a PC, i think the shortcut is Command+C on a Mac) and then go back to the hair colour wheel, click the # tab again, and paste that "Hex" number into the last box. After i do this i need to click elsewhere for it to take effect.

"Hex" means "hexadecimal code" and it's a way of relating colours to a computer with a system of 6 letters and numbers. 0 is the lowest number, and f is the highest letter, so 000000 is black (no colours, no brightness), and ffffff is white (all colours, full brightness)!

Just supplying your fun nerd fact of the day, in case you didn't know. :D

When I create a new color - I save it in the little folder they have on the side. I've saved it for hair color and clothes colors.
