I think it's 110, but I've never been light enough to have to find out, so... Yeah. But mock deli battles sound fun!

Yeah, health problems at either end are extremely sucktastic, and I remember you posting before about people trying to get you to eat more food and/or far more cake and stuff than any one person could ever eat to try and fatten you up. Which sounds like it would be almost as annoying as all the, "Geez, don't eat so much. Why don't you eat a salad instead fatso?" crap that people at the other end get.

I think the gender question has to do with statistics. Who's donating and such.

We have all these extra forms to sign at the moment for people who have been in flood affected areas or travelled to certain places at certain times. There's three new forms, iirc.

I am due to donate again. I'm a speed donater but my veins are like hoses.(I have a 'veins can squirt' note on my record) I can't believe how painful the haemoglobin test is. I would donate two units rather than the damn prick test.

It annoys me about the medication test every time. I have to explain about hypothyroidism to the nurse each time and about the drugs. urgh.

I'm too short to do two units at once, apparently, but I would do it just to avoid the hemoglobin test too. I mean, it's a stupid finger prick, it shouldn't hurt that much, but it does.

It sucks that you have to explain the same thing every time. And squirting veins sounds like it can be...awkward. Did nurses find out your veins can squirt the hard way?
