The politicians reasoning out how to give the children away without looking like the bad guys, and then figuring of *which* children to give away. Learning that 456 wanted the kids not help them survive or anything, but for drugs? Just ... chilling, all of it. "
These are totally the reasons that Children of Earth was awesome.
Unfortunately, they didn't successfully make me care about Jack's family... sacrificing his grandson ended up being like- a logical horrific action rather than an emotionally affecting action.
Frobisher, however- HOLY SHIT. I knew it was gonna happen but it still- I dunno- jumped isn't the right word, but 'shocked' isn't a verb. I reacted with serious shock when the gunshots rang out.
