stop being so dramatic ;) you're not gonna be ready or in a good place to make good decisions about who to date/be with until you get your own thing going. I found that once I was working all the time, off of drugs, healthy and able to be on my own without needing to be on drugs or drunk in order to get through that period of time, you start making really, really good decisions about who is worth what little time you have free. There was a time when you weren't dating/living with a boy. You used to have girlfriends and friends and go out and see shows and stuff. Make yourself some new friends by recapturing your independence, and maybe they'll have some single cool friends to introduce you too. And hang in there. Being single sucks when you've been in a relationship for so long, but its better than being stuck in a dead end relationship. Be happy you don't have a kid or a bunch of debt or an STD lingering around from it.
great advice. . . i agree. a true healthy relationship occurs when two whole people come together to make something new. two half people coming together to fill the voids only brings heartbreak.
