Of course I remember you! How's the job going?

My dog was killed by two pit bulls, completely attacked. Total nightmare that I can't stop reliving..

Even with all your sadness & pain...

Its still not your fault... she knows that, if you were the one that got hurt, you wouldn't have blamed her for the situation just like she doesn't blame you.

Honar her by letting go & giving that big ole heart of yours to another, in her name!

Hi. I can't post in dog_lovers because I'm one of the million banned :) But I wanted to invite you to join dogforums.com. They are a WONDERFUL community of dog lovers (and the site is VERY busy) and many have been through tragedies just like yours. There is a woman just recently who lost her Yorkie when three dogs on her block attacked her and ran off with her pup, and there was nothing she could do. There is a separate forum for pet loss, but I would suggest posting your whole story in the general forum that is heavily trafficked. You'll get a lot of great support and advice.

I'm sorry about your sweetie and feel your pain.
Please, do not be too hard on yourself!
And, for whatever its worth ~big hug~~ (and I know, I would cry a lot, too.)

Also, I know the pit bulls did it. But, really, ultimately humans who were miss-handling those pits did it (or allowed to do it). Ultimately, that's their responsibility. I mention this because pits, when handled properly, can be the sweetest dogs under the sun and the moon. Ceasar Millan has some really mellow pits that do magnificent job helping him to help other dogs.

Thank you for reaching out...I try to not let the situation rule my opinions on pits but these pits were helped raised by me. Quinn knew them for 4 years and I trusted them w everything I had. All, just a very tragic time and I hope to someday forgive them and myself. Three dogs died that night :(

My goodness!
Oh my goodness!!

All of this would fuck with me in a major major way.

Still, rationally speaking, the pits are not moral agents. So, there is nothing to forgive them (whatever they did was not really in their control).

also, we all need to move on.
So, yes, we need to forgive ourselves.
