You already know this, but I really like the ending.. The "nor completely misguided" bit, and Jim leaving quickly but not quietly. I love drunk Jim :)

yep, i wanted to show that Spock IS interested, just not under those circumstances. And though Jim is being a douche, he isnt totally crap cause he does realize he's being an ass and backs off. cause he does actually like Spock :
