Notes: I started with the prompt Nightmare and each fic after that is going to be based around it.
Josh woke in the middle of the night again. He wasn't cold. He didn't have a bad dream. He just felt lonely. Really lonely, like Drake wasn't even in the room with him. He needed an excuse and one that wouldn't piss of Drake. He decided to do it, casually with a simple call of his name. That always worked.
"Drake?"
"Yes, Josh?" Drake answered slightly irritated, yes but it didn't matter.
"Can you come down into my bed? I'm lonely."
"Josh." Drake said exasperatingly. It was 3am again in the morning. Maybe he shouldn't have answered his brother's question of his name.
"Please?" Josh nearly whimpered.
"Why are you lonely, I'm right here. I'm always right here." Drake promised, trying not to sound so tired or irritated still for that matter. He wouldn't exactly admit that he found this endearing either.
"I just want you closer." Josh breathed out more than he said it.
"I'm close, Josh. I'm closer than you think." Drake promised as he was trying to be as silent as possible creeping out of his bed. This was really cute of Josh, Drake liked it.
"Drake, please." Josh pleaded.
"Shhhh," Drake whispered, slipping himself into his brother's bed. "...told you I was closer than you think."
Josh breathed happily and scooped his brother's small figure into his arms. His hands tracing over his perfect hips. "Mmm, thank you." He purred.
"Welcome."
"I would have climbed into your bed, but you know sometimes my bed is lonelier..."
"Josh, there is no such word as lonelier..." Drake responded as if he was the smart one.
"And how do you know?"
"I don't, I just don't want you to be lonely period."
"Well, I'm not...you're with me." Josh answered closing his eyes. He had nothing else to say.
