Sometimes ordering things from TV like that aren't too bad. My mom has made a couple purchases off infomercials and the products have turned out to be divine. :)

Admittedly though, sometimes the stuff you get is rubbish lol! But I think the CD will be good. My dad's got a few of those CDs off the TV and they've turned out grand.

I bought the non run nylon stockings from one of those companies. They didn't run, just got whopping great holes in them.

Most of the personal grooming stuff will appear - at a fraction of the price - in bargain stores sooner or later.

Can't see how you can go wrong with CDs though.

Pirate copies, scratched or broken disks, broken cases, lousy quality, different music from that advertised... There are any number of ways in which it could go wrong with a CD.

I just hope it doesn't.

However, I remember a wonderful satirical comedy from the late 70s called "The Biderbeck Tapes", where the hero ordered some tapes supposedly containing Jazz by Bix Biderbeck from a mail order company (this was before CDs and the internet). What he got was not what he ordered and he embarked upon an amazingly amusing quest to find the people responsible and get the right music! I shall do the same!
