Beat The Intro - Third Time Lucky?
Okay, guys and galls, pop-pickers, cool dudes, rockers, mods and music fans of all ages...
I present to you, my third attempt at a "Beat The Intro" quiz.
First some instructions and rules.
How to play: Turn your speakers or headphones on, click each link in turn, listen to the intro and try to guess the song it is from.
Rules:
1) This is just for fun. There is no prize. Have a go if you want, or not. If you don't get any right, better luck with my choice of songs next time...
2) This is my quiz, my journal, my rules. My decision is final. Now, if I mark you wrong when you were sure you were right, you can always try and convince me, but I know which MP3 files I edited to get the intros.
3) Post your answers in a comment. All comments are screened to prevent copying.
4) You will get one point for the title of the song and one point for the artist performing it.
5) I will, at my discretion, award half points for identifying a song correctly by (say) it's first line, or for getting close to the name of the artist (Last name but not first name, the lead singer of a group, or a former or recent name for the same group).
6) Cover versions: If you can convince me that the artist you named did a cover version of the same song, or if they were the original artist and mine was a cover, I will award a half point for that as well.
[Edit] One more rule: 7) You can have as many goes as you want. Keep guessing on the ones you didn't get yet. But, if you change an answer, I will take the last answer, even if a previous one was correct.[/edit]
