You should also use Microsofts Anti-Spyware (one its free, two I have seen it catch things other antispyware hasnt, I usually run 2 different ones to ensure my system is clean :P)

And yes, you shouldnt mess with things you dont understand ~snicker~

Seriously though. Possibly up to 90% of all spyware gets on to your computer because of bugs and loopholes in Microsoft's operating system and browser. (Provable fact - Firefox users get up to 80% less spyware) Do you really trust them to get rid of it? I certainly don't!

It would not surprise me in the least if a certain B.G. (who shall not be named) were actually responsible for a good percentage of the stuff in the first place!

LOL but it has caught stuff that other anti-spyware hasnt and vice-versa hence the running of more than one anti-spyware program :P and I dont get many to begin with because of being on firefox primarily to begin with (oh that and the settings I have put on my firefox :> )
