Party is a verb

Feb 22, 2007 15:07

I'm having a drinking session at my place tomorrow (fri 23rd) and I've just realised I haven't got off my enormous arse and invited anyone, so you can all come along for alcohol and food, 2 of my favourite things.

Friday, Fawcett Rd, 7.00 ish start?

there'll be free alcohol for anyone I like!

Richie and Lewis both have the night off now (hurrah!) so they'll both be in attendance too, with Lisa I would assume :)

Haha, enormous arse! That made me laugh a bit.

So, is the 'gathering' actually in the street or in the flat? Ooooh, I'm hilarious today!

unrelated but i've been searching for a random phrase for upcoming final year project alt-fashion website and so, i must ask, can i steal 'party is a verb'? it's brilliant and perfect but it would be cheeky of me to use it without asking...

ahhhh the free drinking sounds well nice and full of nice people! wish i hadn't made other plans, it is a crying shame i don't see you and kate and dean more xx

seriously, we're better than all your other friends, stand them up and come here instead!

I actually mis-quoted black books "You will NOT use party as a verb in THIS bookshop"

Shame, especially as I discovered the Alma last week and loved it. Would have been cool to see you and a band, but my plans have already been cemented in stone and mailed to the top of a tall mountain where they await a slightly lonely and depressed German man to bring them down again and proclaim them to the people. Only then may I think of changing them.
