Jenson Button - what a guy. Top drive. From thirteenth on the grid to a second-place finish.

As soon as Herr Tedious retires, Formula One can become interesting again! :-)

I second that- he is the main man! (and very cute!) The scrap he had with Alonso showed us what we will be seeing in the future of F1. And it was great to see such a scrap so cleanly done too.

M.S. is a much nicer guy now than he used to be- I didn't like him in the days of Benneton and Hill, but he genuinely seemed to relish the win and support the two younger drivers on the podium.

Do you think Jens will get the win this year? I recon after three weeks living with the buzz from today he will come back wanting it even more...

If Schumacher at some point proves to be fallible (or Montoya takes him off the track again) the I think Jenson will win. Other than that, he just doesn't seem beatable.

What would have been very interesting is if Jenson had been driving the Ferrari and Schumacher the BAR. As good a car as the BAR is, the Ferrari is as totally reliable as it's possible for a F1 car to be, and with performance to match.

Schumacher is a different driver from the one who deliberately took himself and Damon Hill out of the race to take the F1 championship all those years ago. But he's done it all, and holds every record worth having. It can't be long before he decides to retire.

He is a totally different guy- but then he has got a lot to be happy about.

The 'Age of Ferrari' can't last forever though, and maybe when their reign starts to ebb he wil duck out on top. I don't think he will stay, he'll retire.

It would have also been good to see what had happened if Jenson had started on his original grid slot.

What I thought was sad though was further evidence of the decline of DC. I reckon his day has been and gone, but i'm not sure he sees it that way. I mean sure, he can still get points but once he was well up there. You can't even blame the car today. kimi was doing fine. Maybe DC should go and join Johnny Herbert!

And I'm crossing fingers and toes for a win for Jenson this season...

I somehow knew you'd say that... :-)

I bet you enjoyed the sight of Raikkonen and his comedy exploding McLaren moment though...and no doubt celebrated with a bonus biscuit!
