Hi guys. I don't know if any of you are even watching me anymore but I'm kind of a dick. I came back to updating just to ditch it all for tumblr. I felt uninspired and unfunny which is pretty shit. Also, as I said recently on my tumblr, if I'm the only one reading what I'm writing then I'm just having a conversation with myself. If that's the case

Well I've been doing the poor man's version of updating on tumblr. AKA I'm incredibly lazy. But I am thinking that when I get home from comic-con I will probably put together an update to catch people up on where the Mrmpfles are and what they are doing. Although at the moment it's not a lot because there are so many of them that there is no order. Just chaos.

Well now's your chance to get to know me! And vice versa. :3

I check in on your tumblr a lot, and would certainly come back to reading updates here. I was a big fan, re-read your legacy from the start when I began playing the sims 3 again after a long absence. Really, there's only two legacies I read now, and would love to find more through -- hah, -- that sense of community.

I actually wrote you a reply last night and just when I hit post comment, my internet ran out and I was like "...I'm not paying for more internet" but now I'm at the Toronto airport and they have free wifi. Woooooo! I do love the Toronto airport.

It's hard to find new legacies to read. First off it's kind of like taking a chance. I mean, it could be awful, or it could be really good, and if it's really good there's nothing to stop that person from updating that legacy. And the more that happens to you - at least in my case - the less you want to even bother trying. At least that's how I felt. All my favourite legacies just disappeared and I was like "Why even bother starting a new one. They're just going to abandon me as well! *sob*" (I'm really a melodramatic teen girl at heart.)

well, i just wanted to say i totally agree about the community feeling being lost. besides my own, i really only see a few of the old legacies posted anymore. it's pretty dead, and simblr's great, but it doesn't have that feel i love about livejournal.

i miss your legacy and seeing you often around in general, and even though i'm really shy and awkward until you really get to know me, i'd like to make a connection and be great friends!

I know what you mean. When I went to tumblr I kept trying to get that feeling back. Replying to posts and sending asks and so many people were just like "*thumbs up*" and just so not invested in anything other than how many followers they had and how many notes their posts got and it was just really annoying.

Well I think I'm going to try to get back into things. I am crazy busy this week but I think either tomorrow or Thursday I'm going to post some shit on tumblr and try to put together an update.

I'm the same way, don't worry. I have a hard time getting over that initial awkwardness of hey I just met you, and this is crazy.
