Back from Wedding

Well, we're finally home. Molly is fast asleep, thankfully. She cried a bit on the way home, and I think it was mainly because she has a tummy ache. I hope she feels better in the morning.

*opens door to flat to let them in*

*brings Molly gently, quietly to the flat, cradling her in her arms, humming a lullaby softly*

*she whispers back to John* Where should I put her?

Well, there's her playpen here... and there's the sofa. Umm... or we could just put her in my bed and stay out here in the sitting room.

*smiles softly and nods, going back to humming her lullaby as she goes to the bedroom, and puts Molly softly under the covers. She tucks her in and kisses her head before coming back out to the sitting room, smiling at him as she shuts the door quietly*

She's such an angel, John.

True. I don't know how she could be, seeing how her daddy is all so evil. *grins, then takes her hand and leads her over to the loveseat and sits them down*

C'mere... *pulls her close and kisses her deeply*

Another Unsuspecting Sunday Afternoon

*the weekend finally drawing to a close, Liz is helping John get all of Molly's things together so he can take her back to Kate's*

So I've got everything in the nappy bag I think... I checked for toys and things under the bed... and her clothes are all washed... did I get everything?

Now, don't pout, love. Daddy will see you again soon. Before you know it, you'll be with us again.
