Aw. Little Oojam just didn't understand what happened. I was a wee tot at my grandfather's funeral, and I thought he was pretending to be asleep. I shook his arm and said "Wake up!"
I chuckled at Oojum's transparent arm sticking out of the ground. But even more at Simian's horrifying passing. Death by flies is the most hilarious death ever. God, how I've changed since my early, tender-hearted days of playing sims!
That's so weird about his hair color, though. I've always heard of hair turning white from shock...
Aww, Oojam is taking after you then. You must have been an adorable aside at your grandfather's funeral - with people both smiling at you & shedding at tear at you not understanding.
I don't have a clue why Simian went blonde - it makes no sense, especially as his clones, now children both have black hair. All I had to do was select Simian & give him an aspiration to use. It was most odd. (Tempted to do it again & see what happens but, aw, killing off Sims seems so wrong. Started a Black Widow Challenge about a year ago, killed off two Sims, then felt so guilty ... obviously I've got a bit better, though having to kill off Oojum twice was a bit of downer)
But back to the blondeness - I didn't just mess it up (like Madame - who is Puffie as an oldie - when I must have accidentally changed her eye colour - unless I didn't change it & Puffie's will turn blue when she finally gets her 'real' head back again)so it was a most odd effect.
Thank you again for letting me play with Oojum & for commenting.
I'm sure the blonde beard is just a weirdo glitch. Like, have you ever noticed when a ghost floats past a window, you can see their original hair color? Gave me quite a start when I first saw it. PT#9's ghost suddenly had red hair (he was an elder, so it was white when he died.) Then he floated past the window, and it turned pale again. Weird. I think it's just that the code acts funny in some situations.
I've never heard of a Black Widow challenge. I don't think I could do that, either (though like you, I've bumped off one here or there in order to leave orphans).

And how slow am I? I just NOW got the OoJAM and OoJELLY thing. *headdesk* I need to sleep more and drink less caffeine.
(I can't wait to post my pixel_trade asylum challenge, now, all this sharing is infectious)

I've just seen Simian's ghost though ... at one stage his beard appeared black but then it went back to blonde.
I found the Black Widow challenge on this site:
http://forums.sims2community.com/forumdisplay.php?f=74
at one stage I was trying out all the challenges ...
