I love the pics of the movies. Only because I haven't seen those movies in SO LONG, though. I don't think I've ever seen the wedding one...
Did you make your townies yourself or did you manage to towniefy your piercings and stuff?
I would suggest cropping the pictures so they don't show queued actions and I can't really see the pics all that well at a 1280x1024 resolution. Walls up would help readers focus on what you wanted to take a pic of and not the toilet or kitchen cupboards. It also seems that you have a widescreen monitor that isn't displaying the game in widescreen and it gives the sims a funny stretched look.
I have nothing to say about the commentary because first gen is always boring...unless it's full of utter and complete fail.

Yeah, before I got this computer I had never seen those before. So I was obsessed plesantly surprised when I'd finally saw them.

Umm..I believe my cousin made those townies, I'm pretty sure that stuff isn't towniefied because I haven't seen them on any other townies.

Thank God, I was hoping someone would bring that up. I'm having issues with the cropping because once I crop those out, if I don't crop the other pictures the exact same way they don't resize the same way and I end up having pictures bigger than the others. I was trying to find a way around that but I'm really new to Photoshop and such >.< so I was kind of stumped. That and I got reeeeally lazy. Yeah, I was worried about that too. I was trying to figure out a good size for everyone. Maybe I'll try 500 x 400 next time. Yeah, I believe my 1440 x 900[uncommon I know. >.<]. But it does show the game in widescreen. I think its just my editing that's making it look like that.

Does Photoshop have a crop option that you can set the size of the crop? As in, if I need to take a screenshot and not use the ingame cam, I set my crop to 600x450, which is the largest ingame cam size. Are you just resizing or are you cropping with it? If you resize, you need to resize the screenshots to the proportions of your screen, which is 5:8. That means that you should pick a height, then multiply that by 1.6 to get your width, then put it in your crop size as wwwxhhh (I use the GIMP, so I'm giving you what are hopefully transferable instructions). I would suggest...500x313 if you want to have 500w. 600x375 if you want to keep the same width as ingame.

Whoops, I said Photoshop didn't I? >.< I meant Paint Shop Pro. I often confuse the two. But yeah I believe it does that option. Usually I crop then resize, depending on if the picture needs it or not. Ah okay, that makes much more sense. I was just randomly picking things or piggybacking off of what I'd seen someone else use. DX Yeah I have Gimp installed, I was jumping between that and PSP. Okay, I'll defintely try that next update. Thank you so much for your help. ♥

Aww. I love this legacy so far, and the graphics are REALLY good <3

I don't have a problem with your cropping, I don't mind seeing the occasional action queue every once and a while. No problems, and if people have a REAL problem with it, then they shouldn't be reading legacies in the first place, haha.

I love the love in this legacy so far, and I really can't wait to see the children x3 then again I'm the sort of person that would sit around at a park all day staring at children with the occasional 'Squee' while all the parents usher their children out of the park, BUT you get the point :D YES? RIGHT?

Anyways, I love your pics JUST the way they are. Keep up the good work!

x.x I'm glad. I was really surprised by how much work it was. After awhile I just kinda got lazy. Because if I cropped one image and not the other image in the exact same way they would never resize to the same size and it looked really funny with one picture shaped different from another. But I guess I'll learn how to fix that with time.

Well first I maxed all the graphic settings in the game [ex. lighting, sim/object detail, graphics] cause before that it was all blocky and horrible. It may cause your game to run slower but its worth it. I haven't had any problems with that but on my old computer I'm sure I would have.

After that I just played around in Paint Shop Pro, brightening & sharpening the pictures. The graphics card plays a big part too. ♥
