My poor, poor car is just trying so hard to survive, but I think I just spent the last dollar on it that I will ever spend again - because it's just not worth it anymore. *sigh*

I spent all morning just trying to get to the tire repair shop. I called a friend to help me change my exploded tire:

Wow, the tire looks pretty worn out to begin with. I'm surprised you were driving on it.
I just spent a fortune fixing something on my car. Worst part, i can't remember. It's like I'm always fixing things.

I should have gotten new tires 5000 miles ago; I keep a maintenance log of all the major repairs I make, and it turns out these tires were five years old oO I usually do a better job of keeping ahead of it, but with moving to a new city and having to find all new repair stores (that are affordable, and that I can trust), I just lost track. *sigh*
