Sungmin's POV
My first few weeks at work were practically still the same, Kyuhyun being arrogant and all, but somehow I’ve already gotten used to it. I’ve also grown comfortable around him despite what happened that night, which he seems to still have no idea at all. Also, Siwon being here makes working at this company a lot easier. Whenever he’ll see that I’m already pissed with his brother he never fails to make me smile, he had been really nice to me, like a big brother I’ve always wanted.
I was outside the office staring at Kyuhyun wondering how he could manage to work so hard. I’ve never seen him doing anything but work. The minute he arrived at the office, he’ll just have his daily cup of coffee then pushed himself to all the piles of work all day. He’ll end up late at night and he even works until weekend. I wonder if the guy even has a social life, well I think that explains the grumpy personality, I never even saw him smile, in contrast with his brother. I was too caught off with observing Kyuhyun that I didn’t noticed Siwon looking at me with a wide grin.
I almost jumped off my seat when I saw him, making him laugh “What are you doing?” he asked, eyeing me suspiciously.
“N..n-nothing!” I waved my hand emphasizing my answer, then gulping hard at the knowing look he gave me.
“Whatever you say” he ruffled my hair before sitting at the chair in front of my desk.
“Are you doing something tomorrow night?” I mentally checked my schedule before smiling at him and answered. “Nope, why?”
“It’s just that it’s amm.. my birthday and I’d be glad if you could come over to my house for dinner.”
“It’s your birthday? I’m sorry! I didn’t know. Happy birthday!”
He blushed a bit saying it’s fine “We’ll just have a small dinner but I really hope you’d come”
“Of course!” I answered enthusiastically “How could I resist my hyung’s offer” we both laugh before he said that he have to go.
“I’ll just give you the address later. See you there!” he gave me a wink before leaving.

The Chois live in a well-known village so it was easy to get there. I get off the cab when we arrived at the address Siwon gave me. I was amazed at what I saw; their house was like a mansion. A maid welcomed me and led me to the garden. On the way, I was slack-jawed at the interior of the house. It was amazing!
I was busy admiring the house and was cut when I saw Siwon running towards me giving me a hug. “You came!”
I laughed at him breaking the hug “Of course. I told you I will right?” I then handed him a gift making him smile widely. “You don’t have to give me a gift.”
“Of course I do” he thanked me and gave me another hug.
“I’ll leave you first okay? Just feel comfortable around.” I just nodded while he ran inside the house while I continue admiring the surrounding.
Kyuhyun’s POV
“Why do I have to entertain him?! He’s your guest!” my brother keeps on pulling me out of my room begging me to keep Sungmin company while he’s preparing the dinner.
“Cmon! It’s my birthday! Can’t you even grant the wish of your favourite brother??” He said with a puppy face which never works on me anyways, I just ignored him and went back on playing Starcraft, my favourite game. “Yah! Because you’re my ONLY brother!”
“Exactly!” then he pulled my chair trying to get me off my laptop and hugged me tight
“Pleaaaaaase!!!! “
“Aish! Seriously! You act as if you’re younger than me!”
“So does that mean you’re doing it??”
“Fine!” he then smiled his perfect smile before pulling me out of my room but he suddenly stopped before eyeing me from head to toe. “What?!” I asked, growing conscious at his stares.
He then give me an odd look before pulling me into my closet and look over my clothes.
“What are you doing?!”
“Do you seriously think you could face Sungmin like that?” He answered, not leaving his gaze on my closet.
I looked at myself, I was wearing a simple white t-shirt and a white knee-length shorts “What’s wrong with this?! It’s not as if we’re going out. And I’m only facing my secretary for goodness sakes!”
He shoved me a black polo “Wear this!” then went over my jeans.
“What?! No! I’m already giving you a favour for entertaining your guest. This is too much!” I was about to leave but he carried me and forcefully remove my shirt.
“What are you doing?!!!” I tried to resist but he’s much stronger than me! Seriously! How can I fight with all those muscles?! So I just submitted and changed my clothes myself.
“You should have been more obedient at the start!” I just gave him an irritated glare and continued changing. He laughed and pulled me after I finished changing.
“Aish! You’re too harsh!”
He just ignored me and led me to the garden. When we saw Sungmin, Siwon whispered something to me “Isn’t he pretty cute and handsome?” I just arched my eyebrows at him making him chuckle and literally pushed me to Sungmin making us bump into each other.
“I’ll leave you two! Have fun!” then Siwon ran inside leaving the two of us alone on the garden.
“Aish that guy!” I screamed which I realized made Sungmin startle.
I could feel the tension between us so I tried to start a conversation to ease it a bit, but it’s as if my mind’s not functioning that I can’t think of any words. “Amm.. a…” I started, Sungmin looked at me with his round puppy eyes, making me mum as I only notice how cute his eyes are.
“Sir Kyuhyun-ssi?” Sungmin tapped my shoulder cutting me from my daze. I looked at him with a questioning look.
I noticed him tensed up “Amm it’s just that.. you we’re saying?”
“Oh that! Yeah!” amm.. think of something Kyuhyun! Heck why can’t I think of something!
“Ah…. Do you want something to drink?” I can feel his cute brown orbs looking at me with confusion, and then I realized that he’s holding a glass of juice. Unconsciously, I grabbed the glass (which is still full) and hurriedly went inside the house telling him that I’ll refill it.
I just realize how lame that was but didn’t care I just really need to stay out from that place. It’s a cold evening yet I feel like I’m sweating hard and I’m finding it hard to breathe! It’s not as if it’s the first time I was left alone with him. Well yeah those times I was too preoccupied with work that I don’t really give attention to him. But maybe it’s just because of Siwon’s teasing. Yeah! It’s just that. I keep on repeating to my mind, assuring myself that it really is just that. I think.
Sungmin’s POV
I was left at the garden confused with Kyuhyun’s actions.
Is it just me or he seems nervous? Why would he even be nervous being with me?
As I think of a reason, flashes of that night keeps repeating in my mind, that feeling that enraptured my heart. Ever since I found out that his my boss, I tried to deny all those feelings and cover it with anger, especially knowing the real him. But somehow I can’t help coming back to that night. I can’t help remembering that wonderful feeling I only felt in his arms. No matter how much I deny it, no matter how much I abandon these feelings, it’s still here, right at the depths of my heart.
“Sungmin?” my thoughts were cut only to see the guy that had been giving me these crazy feelings. Who wouldn’t like this guy? He has the loveliest orbs that window his soul, mirroring thousands of emotions, making you lost in oblivion. His perfectly sculptured face that every girl would fell for and guys would envy yet would also capture their hearts. His soft raven locks that compliments his handsomeness, giving him more edge. And his soft lips, bringing me back at that moment of bliss. That few seconds I’ll remember forever.
Kyuhyun’s POV
I tried to calm myself before getting another glass of juice for both of us. After a few minutes of breathing exercise, I managed to compose myself and head back to Sungmin.
When I saw him, I noticed that he seems to be in deep thinking, so I set down the glass on the table and call his attention.
“Sungmin?” the moment he looked at me, it seems all the calming I did was useless because at the second his perfect sparkling brown orbs land to mine, my heart starts beating uncontrollably. Standing just a few inches away from him even makes the feeling I had a while ago rushing a thousand folds. His sweet strawberry scent makes my heart flutter. I also realized how smooth and milky white his skin is drawing you closer making you want to touch and feel it.
“Ehem” I was startled when I realized Siwon smiling coyly at the both us, giving both of us a knowing look. I turned away realizing the deep stare we’ve lost in.
“Looks like the both of you are having a great time!” he flashed a big dimpled smile, making me more irritated at him. I know him too much, I can feel that he’s up to something.
Sungmin’s POV
“Is it a yes then?” I just bowed my head low, not knowing what to answer and to hide my face that’s blushing too hard from the scene earlier.
“Good! Then I could leave both of you here.”
“What?!” I heard Kyuhyun shout at him staring at his older a brother with a glare that could kill. I looked at Siwon giving him a pleading look. He can’t leave me here!
Looks like Siwon understood what’s running through my mind because he comes towards me. “I’m really sorry Sungmin. It’s just that my boyfriend called just now and said his flight was cancelled so he would want to be with me in my birthday. I’m really sorry” I could see the sincerity in his eyes that I can’t get mad at him so I just gave a small smile and told him it’s fine, which made him grin. But then I realized that I’m going to be alone with Kyuhyun which made me startle.
“I’ll just go home then”
“What?! No! please no.. I invited you all the way here so I couldn’t just let you go home” I could see a pinch of guilt in his eyes which makes me hate myself. I don’t want him to feel that, it’s just that I can’t be left alone with Kyuhyun. So I gather all the excuses I could think of.
“It’s fine, really. Plus I can’t stay too late I might find it hard to get a cab later.” I smiled trying to assure him that its fine but he just replied with a big sad frown making me feel guilty. Aish! That’s my talent, who would’ve thought that this guy could be so good at it! I was about to apologize but his face suddenly lit up.
“Kyuhyun could send you home!” both of our eyes widen at his suggestion. Argh! I’m so stupid I even made the situation worse! I looked at Kyuhyun and saw him more pissed. I feel ashamed that I even drag him into this so I tried to protest but Siwon was persistent.
“Don’t be shy Sungmin! I’m sure it’s alright with Kyuhyun! Right?” he turned to Kyuhyun and I could feel them conversing with their eyes. I could see that Kyuhyun was against it.
“Alright then bye!” Siwon hurriedly went outside leaving us with no choice.
“Aish! That immature horse!” I looked at Kyuhyun screaming at Siwon, I can sense his anger making me want to just leave the place immediately.
“You don’t really have to do what he just said, I’ll just leave now. Let’s just tell Siwon that I stayed for dinner and everything would be fine” I tried to smile at him unsure of my answer.
“Are you that dumb?! I’m sure Siwon would know it and get mad at me. Let’s just start eating and get this over with!” He went inside the house leaving me startled of him.
After a few steps he faced me back shouting “Are you just going to stand there?!” It’s as if my whole body is afraid of him, immediately obeying, running towards his direction. Oh how I wish this night could end as soon as possible, and I mean now!
