In a serious case of WTFery, simsecret gets hacked, and the previous 3 weeks of secret posts gets deleted, and all but one mod (whose journal was hijacked for this) were removed.

This was picked up pretty quickly, but the Butthurt Bandit decided to strike again. But again, the mods noticed quickly, though more secret posts were deleted ( Read more... )

So far I've used 3 different ones and have gotten amsterdam. Still checking several more.

The one I tried said the isp was in Maidenhead UK, but its apart of a larger company based in Amsterdam http://whois.domaintools.com/78.129.197.69

I googled the IP number 78.129.197.69 and found that this number is a proxy that belongs to Hide My IP. Here is a screenshot of a post I found on a forum:

I wonder, is this the same proxy software that Thomas bought Atwa?

Hmmm... It's a good question to raise at PMBD; if anyone would know, it'd probably be someone there.

Coconut just posted in her blog and implied that the IP number was used by Atwa to make her sockpuppet accounts. This number had also been used by her or someone from TSR on another forum.

Christ, I'm just noticing this now! Thanks to Jenfold for linking me. My brain has fallen apart because of this. I can barely concentrate at work and school. I'm so angry.

The support that the greater Sims community has lent Simsecret and I this week has been just astounding. We are all so grateful. SEE HOW GOOD IT IS TO HAVE REAL FRIENDS, TSR? TRY IT SOME TIME.

Has Atwa knowledge enough to hack? I mean, i am quite intelligent, but i have no clue whatsoever about hacking, but maybe i would be clever if i had moneygrabbing junks from TsSSRoiT.
