GoS is HATE

Over in simsecret, spike741 posts a hatred-filled comment about...everything. Most notably, however, in response to Secret #42, she bashes the hell out of Garden of Shadows, saying:

I think the general feeling is that they should lighten up and realize that just because one person dislikes their forum doesn't mean it's the end of the world.

I love GOS, and I love Sinthe, and while I can't say her comments were the nicest, I still don't see the big deal.

(No hard feelings for any of the GOSlings or Sinthe. I don't want to be wanked.)

Well... Sinthe could have worded it better, but I don't really think it matters if she likes GoS or not. Some people do, some people don't. Maybe its irrational, and maybe she has no reason to not like GoS. But she doesn't like it, and, hey, nothing wrong with that. I for one like GoS, but I don't always like it there. It does seem like a few things are posted as 'alternative' when I don't think they really have much reason to... I'm mostly just thinking sims. I don't think that there is any reason to get upset over someone not liking something, really. She was just expressing her opinion.

I was genuinely curious. Every forum that I'm not into or someone really hates, there's a reason. Everywhere I've been, most people liked GoS or said it simply wasn't their thing. I'd never met anyone who just straight up hated it, is all.

I don't really hate the place. In essence, I told you that I didn't want to talk about it in an effort to bite my tongue, so to speak. There are several reasons why I don't really like GOS. I don't feel like getting into it right now (though I felt like it yesterday; the rational part of my brain piped up and told me to STFU).
