1) Even if I don't know that I'm participating, can I still post prompts for others?

2) Can we still use the format for the prompts throughout the week, such as song lyrics, quotes, game features, etc?

Absolutely. You don't have to participate to prompt people.

I'm not sure what you're asking for 2). You CAN pair responses to the daily prompts with responses for Myshuno! as long as you declare both prompts. We're still going to be posting the daily prompts throughout the challenge like we did for CreMo, so you're always free to respond to them. You can't start your Myshuno! card until 10/1, though.

It's just that most of the prompts that have been posted so far seem to be general words or situations, specific to a particular story. No one has really been posting quotes or lyrics, so I'm wondering if we should avoid those.

I figured that didn't make much sense. :P

LOL don't worry about it. Really, anything is fine, and a couple of people have actually asked for lyrics and quotes, so by all means go for it if you want to.

Question: Can you only fill one prompt at a time with each thing you write, or can you fill two (or more) prompts within one story/extract/whatever?
I just ask because I've seen other story bingo things like this where people seem to have done :P

One prompt per story, yes. We'll also say this on our claim instructions post closer to October. Thanks for mentioning it!

Do we want to say that you can use a story for both your myshuno card and regular daily simspiration? Because you could use both prompts to write one story. I get that we want 24 stories to get blackout, but do we want them usable for other stuff as well?

Oh yeah, I think that's fine. Just no on the using two Myshuno! prompts on the same piece. It has to be twenty-four separate pieces.

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY I am so glad this is going to be an event!

When did you guys come up with it? I would be sad I wasn't there, but you know... England.

*cheers*

Edit: Banners and/or icons, do you want more?

LOL, yesterday after you'd apparently gone to bed! We were still having That Conversation (it kept getting revived when new people entered the chat) and then De showed off her card and Rose and I were all "O HAI LET'S MAKE THIS A THING" so we did.

We would love more but I also want you to enjoy your vacation, so if you have time, great, and if you don't, we'll manage :-P

Yup, it was insane! And I did the banner because you were in England and not there.

And we totally need icons and could use more banners, but absolutely don't bother while you're on vacation - the main event doesn't start until October, anyway, and you'll be home by then, right? I can make stuff too, of course - seriously, don't feel like you have to do all of it.

I'm going to suggest that long term we'll want banners/icons for participants, myshuno winners, and blackout winners.

Marina, if you have any other suggestions, chime in!

Sounds like that covers it, since we already have the cards.

Hey guys, where are we going to be posting our prompt responses for this? Because obviously we can post on our own LJs, but is there going to be a comm post/posts for it? (I'd recommend more than one for the whole time, unless it's stickied or we get reminders, or else people would forget :/)

You will post to your own journals and link the posts to the place we'll have for claims.
