I read Memoirs of a Geisha first and then saw the movie. There's definitely a lot more to the book! I read it forever ago and haven't picked it up again since but I still remember practically everything about it. The movie was vivid but the book makes you feel like you're there, which is sometimes wonderful and sometimes very uncomfortable, haha.

It's not like I feel any more confident in braving its pages after this, but at least I know I won't be scarred for life. :) I promise I'll read it, someday. :P

I have to agree with aparijita about the book. I read it before the movie too, and funny enough, haven't come back ever since :P

Micheal Buble's songs ftw! But I hate carrots :( Love potatoes, though.
