I don't think I've ever heard anybody talk English with a Finnish accent but now I totally need to.

Sounds pretty interesting for an English class ;)

:D Here is an interview of a Finnish band The Rasmus http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LpIo-UqnqVY&feature=related
It's from 2007 and pretty random but it gives you an idea. Their accents are not that bad. Our current president sound absolutely horrible when she tries to speak English. >.<
To Finns "Finnish accent" = "failure to speak proper English".

It's a pretty nice English class. The teacher just wants to motivate us to speak in English and doesn't require too much work.

Innnnteresting. The first guy hardly even has an accent (in my opinion) and the guy at the other far end sounds like he has a French accent.

I love it when Finns speak English it always sounds adorable, but the way you describe Finnish people...like this I would be one, too.

oh and that sucks :/ Did you accepted her friends request?

The Finnish accent sounds horrible to me. :D
It seems more like a failure to speak proper English rather than an accent.
Then you'll fit in nicely when you are forced to come here.

I haven't accepted it yet. I don't use facebook often anyway. But I haven't decided on what to do with it. *sigh*
