Weekend at the Gates and Kittehs on my Lap

Thankfully, Mister Kitten came home alive, sans one tooth. Poor guy had trouble recovering from the whole ordeal, spent the night glued on me, barfed on my covers, and spent today glued on the heater. He's extra cranky, but he washed his whiskers and ate some food. What was alarming, is the fact that his teeth were not decayed, as I had thought at ( Read more... )

I really enjoyed the story. I read it as a descent into madness story, but I liked the way the strong POV made it nicely ambiguous. Hopefully my comments help you out with the market you're submitting it to.

And thank you again. :) POV was one of the many challenges I faced iin that story, so I'm glad to know that it worked.

(And because LJ has been eating comments lately, I've also emailed you a proper thank-you note).

Have you tried Mister Kitten on homeopatic anti-inflamatories? If it isn't his teeth, it could be his jaw and arthritis setting in.

Great to hear little Castrato is doing better.

Great news on your story, too. Yah!

Thanks. Little rascal is climbing on walls following his sister who, apparently, is the Energizer Kitten, with no 'off' button. *sigh*

Homeopathy won't do much if there are decayed teeth, because, well, nothing can't un-decay them, and they are a sourse of inflammation. So I hadn't really tried to deal with this, because I assumed there had to be teeth removed first. He wouldn't let me check anyway.

But once he's fully recovered from his surgery, I'll start trying. At least today he ate his breakfast without screaming from pain, the poor guy. Given his internal organs state, I don't think he'll live long, but at least he'll be comfortable.
